Blurred limits: Marc Thorpe for MOROSO##

Moroso opened its New York showroom for an exclusive presentation of American architect and designer Marc Thorpe’s exhibition, Blurred Limits.  The collection also includes the Mark Table, a flexible side table  with a minimalist, highly functional design.

There will also be a first look at two prototypes for the 2014 collection which the American architect-designer  will be presenting together with Patrizia Moroso and Spencer Bailey. From Marc Thorpe’s description: “Blur is a study of invisibility. Through the material suggestion of disappearance the Blur Sofa questions its objectivity, scale and the relationship between figure and ground. This distortion of mass provides the Blur Sofa with an irrefutable uncertainty of dimension. The Blur achieves this tactic of invisibility through its utilization of a new technique of fabric knitting. “
